Josh the Dog needs a home
I was adopted a few years ago, but my person returned me even though I did nothing wrong. It made me pretty confused and I developed insecurities. When I came back to Forte, I was nearly emaciated, and it made me a bit possessive of food, but I’ve gotten much better about it. I need someone calm and firm, to show me that I don’t have to worry about life anymore.
I’m loving, and would make the best companion to someone who wants to just hang out with me because I also have some back issue which makes my hind legs lame from time to time, especially in cold weather. I have been seen by a few vets, and they all said there’s nothing physiologically wrong with me, but suggest that I avoid the use of stairs as I seem to get pinched nerve at times. So, a perfect home is a single-story house with a backyard, so that when I don’t want to go for a walk, I can still do my business in the yard. I’ve never made a mistake in the house where I live, and I want to keep it that way.
Peeps at Forte say that I have soulful eyes, and I see why they say that because I’m really keen to reading people’s mind and energy, and I’d really love to have my own leader who will give me the structure and kindness, and I will love you tenfold.
